Command Prompt for Windows

Multiple User

The WinOne® Command Prompt supports multiple users on Windows NT, 2000, XP and onwards. Multiple users means running a single installed version of the WinOne® Command Prompt on a computer for all users on that computer. Each user is able to configure the WinOne® Command Prompt to suit their own individual needs without conflicting with any other WinOne® Command Prompt configurations that may already be established for other users. This is possible since WinOne® Command Prompt uses the System Registry to store all of its configuration information.

This feature is not supported in Windows 95, 98 and ME since these operating systems do not support multiple users. Also, when the WinOne® Command Prompt is running on Windows 95, 98 and ME then the WinOne® Command Prompt will use the initialisation file WIN_ONE.INI, located in the windows directory.
